Why did we sponsor the CIA Skills Awards?

The Skills Award is to recognise the employer who has done the most to contribute to the acquisition of skills by the company’s workforce. Cogent has been a key partner to the Chemical industry for nearly 20 years – researching, developing and delivering support, to ensure that our industry’s workforce is both safer and better skilled.

As a previous award winner ourselves in 2019 as a provider for our Process Safety training, we know and understand just how highly valued these awards are.

To coincide with our sponsorship of the CIA Skills award and as part of our ongoing support – to ensure that our industry is both safer and better skilled, we have launched a wants and needs skills consultation called The Great Industry Skills Debate.
