Cogent Skills Consultancy and Course solutions are based on training/industry standards & guidelines that have been developed to capture industry-wide, agreed common training requirements for a range of disciplines across the science industries. They consist of agreed learning outcomes, assessment criteria and best practice. The development of these important standards has taken place in consultation with the employers, industry groups and where applicable the relevant trade, professional or training association or subject matter experts such as the HSE, MHRA and CIA.
Cogent Skills works enforces strict quality processes to ensure that the quality of our consultancy and courses meets the requirements of the training standards/ industry guidelines and gains the approval of the relevant industry stakeholder and or regulatory body. Cogent also supports other stakeholders to map niche training of other providers to the industry standards.
